In order to perpetuate the proof of my existence as manifested by this project all the daily receipts are for sale. This extension then allows each viewer to become a participant in the process of proof by both extending the process of exchange one step further and as a holder of a portion of my proof of existence. Each receipt, unless already purchased, is for sale for the total cost of the receipt itself along with a $5.00 processing and shipping fee.
Process of buying a piece of the proof
If you would like to become a holder of a piece of my proof of existence the process is a simple one. First, choose a day or days that you would like to purchase, then second, e-mail me at ofsmith@maine.edu to confirm availability of the day or days to be reserved in your name. Once your request has been received you will in turn be notified as to the availability and the total cost of purchasing the particular day/s you indicated. After you have received conformation, the third and final step is that you will then need to send a check or money order to complete the purchase. Once your payment has been processed you will be sent the original receipt in a signed and numbered envelope and your name will be added to each of the pages for the day/s purchased as the holder of that portion of the proof of my existence.
