In the spring of 2001 I received my Bachelor of Arts degree with High Honors in Psychology from Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts. I then began my new full-time position as a research assistant in the Interpersonal Perception and Communication Laboratory at Harvard University. At Smith my research and senior thesis concerned the role of self-perceived power in the use of indirect aggression. I am still interested in pursuing this research as well as investigating other topics in social psychology, especially the implications of automatic stereotype activation. I hope to continue this investigation in the future in a social psychology graduate program.
