Can you guess which house the master lived in? You guessed right! Look at the difference. That's how greedy they were.

The abolitionists were people that tried to get rid of slavery. They would have many meetings to discuss what they would try to do next. One of the most often things that abolitionist would do is have rallies. In these rallies they would gather as many people as they could and try to influence them to believe and support anti-slavery. To do this they say many different things. They wold include saying things like all men have a right to life and liberty. This led many other people to support abolitionists. When the Philadelphia Quakers started there own foundation in 1784 it gathered many non-Quakers was including Benjamin Rush and Benjamin Franklin. This led the north to almost abolish slavery in the north except in parts of Massachusetts. And even their people like Prince hall were still working to finish the job.

Also in the south there were other movements going on. There were slaves that would join with freed blacks and some whites that maybe found a little sympathy in their hearts to try to support anti-slavery. The only problem was that even though the free blacks were freed the white masters in the south would not pay attention to them. And if they would not pay attention to the freed blacks they would definitely not be aware if the slaves tried to talk to them about abolitionists. So the slaves and the free blacks would not help much at all in trying to abolish slavery only because the white masters would not listen to blacks. Although there were some whites helping the anti-slavery in the south I believe that they did not have the will to get ride of slavery in the south like the Quakers did in the north.

I believe that the people in the north did a very good job to abolish slavery. And the people in the south did there best but could not manage to abolish slavery in the south. The event that I believe should have happened is that the abolitionists from the north should have gone south to work there because the job was not over yet. They could have persuaded people just like they did in the north. They could talk to the slave masters about the Revolutionary doctrine and the revolutionary principles that explain how all men have the rights to life, liberty, and property. Also if the northern abolitionists told the white masters about the industrial revolution and how all the factories and corporations are making everybody rich without the use of any slave work atoll just the power of coal to work the machines maybe they would start a new corporation. That way there would be none of that horrible slavery and life would be good.

Why can’t black and white men coexist with each other? From where do white men find it right to beat a slave and sell his children? This is unjust, the Declaration of Independence clearly states, “All men are created equal and are endowed by their creator with unalienable rights”. Slaves are often forced to work from an early age an beaten or sexually harassed if they didn’t fallow their owners. Poor living conditions and backbreaking work hours only adds to that. Imagine if you were a slave, how would you feel?

Some say that to solve this problem is to send all of the slaves back to Africa where they came from but this is like returning a half eaten banana back to the general store. America is the natural born country for both colors so it’s inevitable that we must share the land we have.
