R House Press was established in 1993 with the specific aim of producing and raising the awareness of affordable and interesting work which was not otherwise being published or distributed. Its initial plan was to act as a limited production facility and a distribution organization for a variety of work being produced by other publishers. After its initial year, in 1994, R House Press was split into two divisions: R House Press, whose aim would continue to act to set up a distribution mechanism for multiples and artist's books as well as publishing a limited number of artists' books; and R House Editions, whose function would be to produce a variety of work in formants other than the book, most specifically the multiple.
Since 1994 R House Editions has produced and published 47 multiples which you will find detailed in our site. In future years R House Editions hopes to continue to produce and publish work such as those that you will find in this site. R House is interested in expanding its publications to include a diversity of work by new producers.
